Lately, the word "racist" has been thrown around a lot. And it seems that the actual meaning and definition has been smeared to a point where anything said or done that is not side by side with President Obama is considered "racist". This is very disturbing! For years, there have been little comic skits, creative artwork, even far off the edge articles and claims pointed at past presidents, yet no one was screaming "racist" then! Why now? Why is it that if ANYTHING said or done that is against President Obama is considered racist? Where were all these people who are crying foul when the same things were done about the former presidents? Who changed the definition and meaning of the word "racist"? Has this country now become so blurred that whenever something is not in tune with a group's opinion, a new meaning and definition is created just to fit their agenda? It seems to be the case these days.
However when referencing a dictionary and encyclopedias, there is no change to the meaning and definition of the word "racist" to the likes of what some groups are now applying that word to certain actions, such as the recent Obama Joker Poster creator. Now there is a group that is applying the word "racist" to that creator of the poster and main stream news media is on the mechanical bull and enjoying every jerking minute of it! It is appalling to see how things are taken way out of context these days over a harmless picture.
I do not remember people screaming "racist" back in the early 70's when face masks of former President Nixon were worn that had a very long nose, suggesting that he was a liar. And I do not remember anyone crying wolf when people made comic book artwork about former President Carter and the footnotes of "Peanut President". I do not remember anyone crying racist when someone had suggested that former President G.W. Bush had an IQ of only 70.
What is wrong with society today? Is all of this main stream media news sensationalism just to fuel people's desire for something to moan and groan about? Why is so much attention given to such mundane things when there are millions of people still out of work, unemployment is running out for many of them, the economy is shot to hell, and threats of more wars looming? Why are people so hung over about a poster of President Obama in Joker makeup? IT IS A FREAKING PIECE OF ARTWORK..NOTHING MORE!
And it is an example of freedom of expression, as well as freedom of speech. The last time I checked, the American Flag representing FREEDOM was still flying high on flag poles all over the country. Last time I checked, the first amendment was still in the Bill of Rights. And the last time I checked, there was no blank line next to the word "racist" in dictionaries and encyclopedias suggesting you write in your own definition of what the word means. GET A GRIP PEOPLE! There are FAR MORE IMPORTANT things to be concerned about than a silly poster!
GROW UP!

I think the Obama Joker Poster is quite funny!

This one is quite funny too! I suppose that the person who applied the Joker makeup would also be considered racist? I doubt it!
