Well, now that NASA has dropped its load on the moon with the LCROSS mission, was it what you expected to see? Did you spend hours sitting at your computer watching NASA-TV or some other web site with a video feed? Or did you sit outside in the cold with your telescope glancing through the eyepiece? What did you see? Nothing right? RIGHT! No plume, no "puff o smoke", no glorious light flash, NO NOTHING! Well that is typical of what to expect from NASA......"Nothing to see here folks...move along". After all these weeks of "crying wolf" by conspiracy theorists, save the moon outcries...we saw absolutely NOTHING! Nothing Amazingly Seen Alright.
Well we also have a copy of the infamous video...showing a single frame every 6 to 10 seconds of so called live video directly from the LCROSS satellite. Interestingly enough, why would that in ofitself be 1 changing frame every 6 to 10 seconds when back in the late 60's we got live video from the Apollo missions that were more real time video and did not advance 1 frame every 10 seconds? Seems to me that what we all had seen from the NASA cameras was just a cover video....assembled frames of a still photograph slowly moved closer and closer to a stationary camera sitting on a tripod in some studio.....sound familiar to some of you moon hoaxers?
Think about it. Watch that video closely as the LCROSS satellite gets closer and closer to its demise. Just before the frame goes dark, when the satellite is supposed to have impacted the surface of the moon....note how pixilated the moon becomes in the light areas. Also note that there is no detail of the surface features prior to impact, and above all else.....WHERE IS THE PLUME????
Cmon NASA....do you honestly think that we are going to accept this as the real McCoy? People...NASA must really consider us all a bunch of dummies. Even a basic entry level photographer can tell you that a lighted object put closer and closer to a camera will retain that lighting, as well as begin to show the details of the object as it is moved closer to the camera. But the most important thing to note is....WHERE IS THE PLUME????
No plume...no puff of smoke...no exciting event of any kind. Once again...NASA comes through with "Nothing to see here folks...move along"...and thus that is exactly what will happen...another massive boaring event no different from watching the shuttle launch to docking with the ISS and landing at the runway at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
Geez....I think things could have been more exciting by going to sleep and dreaming of a nice sunny beach and being fanned by a beautiful beach girl with a martini in one hand and a Blackberry in the other texting the good looking gal a few yards away.
Well I hope at least some out there got their jollies from this yet Nothing Amazingly Seen Alright event. The moon is still there..no doom, no gloom, no destruction, no inter-galactic war today, no tsunami, no alien invasion, no Nothing Amazingly Seen Alright.
